The Robins
I say “The Robins” because there are more than one. The first one is Dick Grayson, the second one is Jason Todd, and the third one is Tim Drake.
Dick Grayson
Young Richard Grayson was an entertainer with his family. They did a very great and large acrobats performance for the circus. They called themselves “The Flying Greysons”. One night, in the middle of a performance, Dick's parents were going from rope to rope, when their hands slipped. They unfortunately fell to their doom. This upset Dick very much. But fortunately, on that very night, Bruce Wayne happened to be going to that circus. He saw the raw talent Dick possessed. Bruce knew he could be a worthy adversary if anything were to happen to him. Bruce approached young Greyson, and offered him a home. Dick accepted and trained for years. Eventually, he donned on the cape and mask, and made himself Robin, Batman's sidekick.
Years later, Dick decided to help create the Teen Titans, which he led for years. Eventually, the Titans broke up, so he decided to make a different team, Young Justice. After that, he pretty much stuck there, but drifted from them. Years later, he decided to start over his entire life, and devoted to help people, all alone. He made a new costume. And better identity. He started living to Blüdhaven. And took on the new superhero name Nightwing, named after a Kryptonian crime fighter, and started becoming a police officer. He was accepted into the JLA, but hardly ever reconciles with them. He is currently single.
Jason Todd
Jason Todd is the strangest Robin out of the three. Jason was discovered by Batman when Jason tried to steal the tires off of the Batmobile. Batman forced Jason to go to Boy's School for Troubled Youth. Batman started taking an interest in Jason's life. He found out that he is an orphan, and he is good at acrobats. At first, he was kind of thinking about doing the same thing he did with Dick Grayson and giving him a home, but Dick already had that position. That was until Robin became Nightwing and went out on his own. When Dick left the Wayne Manor, Bruce adopted Jason. He trained him to fight by his side, and Jason Todd became Robin, and just like the first Robin, joined the Teen Titans.
Years later, Batman and Robin are fighting crime when Robin gets captured by the Joker (see Villains). The Joker repeatedly beat Robin with a crowbar until he passed out. Then he left him in a warehouse that was armed with a bomb. The Joker blew him up. Batman hates the Joker for this. Later, while Batman tries defeating the Joker, he is introduced to Joker's sidekick, Red Hood. He is a kid in a red mask, unable to see his face. Batman finds out that the kid was Jason Todd, brought back to life by Ra's al Ghul (see Villains).
Tim Drake
Tim Drake (A.K.A. Robin [A.K.A. Red Robin]) is Batman's third and final adversary. When Tim Drake was a kid, he went to the circus with his parents, Jack and Janet. They saw the Flying Graysons (see above). He actually got a picture with them. But Tim was also good at looking at detail. He saw how Dick moved, and like the way he moved. But one day, when he saw Batman and Robin fighting crime, he noticed that the way Robin fought was the same way Dick Grayson performs. He figured out that Dick Grayson was adopted by Bruce Wayne and figured out that if Robin is Dick Grayson, then Batman must be Bruce Wayne. Tim Drake kept this to himself for a long time. All the way up until Jason Todd died. After he died, Batman got reckless. Tim confronted Batman about this. Batman then made Tim the third Robin.
Robin ended up joining the Teen Titans, just like the other two. He became a valuable member and leader of them. Eventually, (in the far, far future) Batman retires and Tim Drake takes his place as Batman, working along side Superman (Conner Kent).
